I'm excited! My new rifle in 6.5 PRC is home. Over the next couple of days I will start shooting it. I have two scopes to try on it, a Zeiss V6 3-18x50 and a V6 5-30x50. Right now all I have is Hornady Precision Hunter ammo in 143 grain ELD-X. I do however have all powders and bullets known to man and once I shoot the factory ammo I'll reuse the brass and start tweaking. The PRC is extremely popular and ammo is almost non existent and very precious. The tag on the box of 20 was $110! Stay tuned for more reports.

Is it any wonder that a 27 pound cat can walk on top of 3 feet of powder snow? The first picture is the bottom of a lynx paw. I'm always amazed that the pads show in their tracks at all with all that fur. The second picture shows my hand (that is a 2xl glove on it) in between the front paws of a good lynx. The left paw is the top and the right paw shows the bottom.
