morning, 6 o'clock. I'm just out of the shower and half way through a shave. Sandi feeds the pups and puts them out for their after breakfast constitutional. Next, I hear her screaming. They've got Winston, they've got Winston! I come running out half lathered and au naturelle. I grabbed the 22 hornet and step out onto the deck. I can't see them if I lean on the handrail so I grab a snow shovel and use it as an upright monopod. A 198 yards shot in the head. The rest of the pack scatters. Considering the circumstances, I'm more than a little proud of that shot LOL.
Rich and Sandi sit down for a looooong podcast with the folks from Panoramic. You can find out more about the guys at https://www.panoramicoutdoors.com/
Is it any wonder that a 27 pound cat can walk on top of 3 feet of powder snow? The first picture is the bottom of a lynx paw. I'm always amazed that the pads show in their tracks at all with all that fur. The second picture shows my hand (that is a 2xl glove on it) in between the front paws of a good lynx. The left paw is the top and the right paw shows the bottom.
