Best Fathers Day gift ever! Well, not true the kids are my major accomplishment in life. But this probably tops the ice cream cone Sandi bought me after shooting sporting clays yesterday. Up to 6 inches of rain and the cabin is in the bullseye! I'm headed to the trapline in a week at this rate.

Pulled all the marten gear yesterday. Had to use the chainsaw to cut a 330 out of the ice. Box was over a foot off the trail on Saturday. Now it has 3” off ice in it.
Had a wolf walk all over a buried foothold and dig at the gifts I left for them. Maybe the weather will cooperate a little better next season. Dang La Niña.
Made 3 RCR sets and chopped in (-20C for the last 4 days) and wax dirt bedded 4 #3 Oneida soft catch. The one on the ridge is rcr caught and the nasty looking one was a deep pad #3 catch. I didn't even take a picture of coyote number 3 as it was in even worse condition. 3 coyote in 3 days at this location. My trapping partner and I now have the 4 3's set and 8 RCR's. Hoping to clean out these nasty dogs.
