Well unfortunately I didn’t have an opportunity to do any spring trapping this year so the furs are off to FHA…. Learned a good deal this year I’ll be acting on next fall… on to spring bear hunting!
This is the picture of the 7 pigs I caught and was able to catch a beaver this morning as well. My neighbor is in the picture she likes to go out and find the spots to put the traps in.
It makes me happy to being able to make things for the trappers that supply me with fur. The trappers get a discount & they get to wear, use and appreciate something (be it mitts, hat, moccasins) of the animal they trapped themselves. This is a moosehide, sheepskin lined, leather sole moccasin with coyote fur that a fella trapped, and he is going to wear them out at his camp.
